About the Contributors
Chloe M. Sills, Reporter
Chloe Sills is a 19-year-old reporter at Fresno City College, completing her sophomore year. She is studying Journalism with a focus on Sports Broadcasting. She aspires to be a sideline reporter, conducting post-game interviews for the NFL, NCAA Gymnastics, and College Football. She was born and raised in Visalia, CA, before continuing her education in Fresno. In Fall 2026 she will pursue her education at Fresno State University through their MCJ program.
Chloe has done gymnastics since she was 2 years old, eventually having the opportunity to compete at San Jose State University before suffering a career ending injury. In San Jose she had the opportunity to dive deep into the world of journalism from history, to sports and multimedia writing.
Her experience doesn’t stop there, in the Fall of 2025 she had the opportunity to intern with Fresno’s Local ESPN Network. The 1430 ESPN Fresno staff provided hands-on training where she was able to co-produce the radio show, manage and run their social media account, edit both radio commercials and videos and even travel. She traveled to San Jose this last fall to work with the Fresno State staff and give an inside play-by-play look of the Valley Rivalry football game through social media. She covered several high school football games weekly, networking the company and herself.
Chloe is a huge fan of the 49ers and enjoys spending her Sunday’s going to church, brunch, then sitting on the couch all day watching football and college gymnastics. She loves to talk about her family, faith, music and gymnastics. She is always looking for the latest sports update and will show you a friendly face around campus to talk to!
