There were plenty of houses participating and it felt like each house had a different genre of music. Fresno showed out on Saturday, April 25 for the sixth annual Tower Porchfest in the Tower District. The event started at 10 a.m. and lasted until 9 p.m.,
There were many genres of music being played, the vendors seemed to be plentiful as well. Even with the chance of rain, there were still plenty of people making their way around.
It felt as if there were people taking up the entire street which is how crowded it was. Every attendee and performer seemed to be in great spirits even with the impending weather.

Not only were the performers that were at the event extremely talented, but they also wanted to be there.
Blackwater Baptized, formed in 2021 was one of the many bands that played at the event. They also just released an album called “Sound of Your Soul” on April 17.
Peter Marinus from Bluestown Music had this to say on a 2023 review of Blackwater Baptized’s album, “The sound of Blackwater Baptized can be described as extremely relaxed, with the blues primarily audible in Jeremy Logan’s guitar playing.”
Marinus also later describes Logan’s guitar playing as “Jimi Hendrix-esque.”
According to the same article the band name is “a tribute to God, family, and growing up in the South of the United States.”
When Blackwater Baptized played at Tower Porchfest, they played a thrilling set with amazing sounding vocals and sound.

The second band was “Bill Reiland Trio,” a cover band. They too, like Blackwater Baptized, played a thrilling set which kept the audience entertained in the performance.
According to the Bill Reiland Trio band website “From Sinatra to Swift, Bill Reiland delivers high-impact live music that keeps rooms engaged from the first song to the last”.
