Justin Shaw, Sports Editor
Justin Shaw is the Rampage’s sports editor from Fresno CA. He is 22-years-old and a journalism major who want be a sports broadcaster. During his free time, Justin likes to go bowling but he also practices taking photos. Justin graduated high school as a junior. This is his fourth semester at Fresno City College and his second semester at The Rampage. While at The Rampage, Justin wants to get better at taking photos but also covering stories. He is excited to be apart of The Rampage. He got in to wanting to be a sports broadcaster because when Justin was growing up he played sports as he got older he decided if he wasn’t gonna get a career in sports why not do something with sports so he decided to be a broadcaster.
Another thing Justin wants to learn from The Rampage is the real world experience. He is a beginner in photography, but is excited to get better and learn how to get good at photography. He learned and knows how to make articles and cannot wait to put it to the test and meet deadlines. This is a good learning experience and a passion he wants to pursue in getting better at. Even if he does not go into sports broadcasting at least he will have the knowledge and some skills to be a journalist outside of sports. He is ready to help contribute to The Rampage this semester and will do the best he can.
