Fresno City College football team  had an exceptional season in the 2021 campaign, where they had a winning record and gained a playoff berth. Coming off of an exceptional season last year, here’s a preview of what’s to come.

The Rams put up a 8-3 record last season and hope to improve on that this upcoming season. Fresno City was left with a bad taste in their mouth at the end of last season in a tough 31-14 semifinal playoff loss against San Mateo.

With tons of key players returning, along with Fresno City’s new recruits, they look to improve this upcoming season in a big way.

Coach Caviglia said “we have a good culture, and this group is working extremely hard right now.”

Caviglia, going into his 23rd year coaching the Rams, is looking to have another successful year.

Quarterback Isaiah Robles said he “feels confident in himself and as a team.” Robles is going into his second year as a Ram.

With an 8-3 record last season, Robles said in order to improve the record from last season it starts “day by day, when we play those tough opponents we have to play at a higher level, if we beat those tough opponents like San Mateo, and not lose to teams we should be beating, I think we should have a way better record.”

Second year wide receiver Darrien Gaines said “I feel confident the team is looking good, we have a lot of returners this year and we’ve been putting in a lot of good work to be successful.
