Blackstone Avenue near Fresno City College shut down for police investigation

Police have closed off a portion of Blackstone Avenue for an investigation.
A stretch of Blackstone Avenue between Weldon and Clinton avenues near Fresno City College is currently closed off to traffic, the State Center Community College District said Wednesday afternoon.
“Due to a Fresno Police incident at Blackstone and Yale, Blackstone is shut down,” an email from the district said.
Officers are currently investigating an unknown circumstance and traffic through the area is restricted.
Drivers are asked to avoid this area for the next 6-12 hours, the district said.
