    Medal of Honor

    released Oct. 12

EA Games released another legendary title in their Medal of Honor series. This game focuses on a real Special Op. Force known as the Tier 1 Operators. This military group fits into many of the branches of the military, from Army to Marines to Navy. Their numbers are somewhere in the low hundreds, though the exact number is classified.

Developers Danger Close was given the honor of working with actual Tier 1 Operators on the game, to insure that everything about it, from the battles to the enemies, resembled the very missions that members from this elite community of soldiers must go on.

Setting you in a hostile modern day Afghanistan, you will now be able to experience missions against a new enemy. The player will now experience the very suicide missions that the Spec   soldiers go on as they step into the boots of the Tier 1 Operators. Medal of Honor is rated M for Mature and has been released on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.

    Fallout: New Vegas

    Released Oct. 19.

Follow up to the 2008’s smash hit, Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas takes gamers back into the wastelands of post-apocalyptic U.S. Players find themselves in what used to be Las Vegas, now known as New Vegas.

The game keeps to the RPG style that developers Bethesda is known for. Many features from Fallout 3, as well as new weapons and enemies are showcased in New Vegas. Hard core mode is a feature introduced in the new game. It adds realistic effects to the game, such as ammo having weight or health packs not immediately working. This will make “surviving” the wasteland a much more memorable, and far more difficult.

The story line is set around the same time as Fallout 3, however its story is set to follow up on the events that took place in Fallout 1 and 2, making this a game that die-hard Fallout fans should not miss out on. As well, anyone into RPGs or Shooters should defiantly check out New Vegas. Fallout: New Vegas is rated M for Mature and was released yesterday on PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
