Students register their bikes with the State Center Community College District Police during a bicycle festival at Fresno City College on Sept. 24, 2015.

How to keep your bike safe. That was the purpose of an event geared to promote bike safety at Fresno City College.

In the past, many students have had their bike parts stolen or in some cases their entire bike stolen. Police at the college are registering students’ bikes with them. They say this helps students keep their bikes.
