A: Well we know from research in Fresno county, there are thousands of jobs that are going unfilled in our city and our county because of the miss match between the skills that those people who are looking for work and skills that are required for those jobs. We know that most of the research is done specifically in the area that don’t require a BA degree they simply required a technical skill or some kind of community college level training. Expanding vocational training at Fresno City College means that people have more opportunity for jobs that available in Fresno, it creates more opportunities for people in Fresno.
