“Car can’t pass smog, FCC got the solution”

The Fresno City College Auto-mechanic department and the Valley “Clean air now” (CAN)will held it’s “Tune in and tune up” on Saturday September 15,2007 from 9:00a.m to 3:00p.m. On the Fresno city campus in parking lot “D.” It is a program that is open to the Fresno city college students and the public, who have a working car that does not pass the smog test. A maximum 400 vehicles on a first come first serve basis will witness the great technology that these young mechanics will use to solve the problems with your vehicles. If your vehicle does not pass the smog test you will receive a coupon that is worth 500 dollars, the coupon only can be used for smog diagnostic testing or repair work. No paperwork, No government entities are involved. You can bring all makes and models of vehicles to this event. They will have two stations open for the mechanics can check your car to see if it passes smog.

The Valley CAN has been doing this event for over 2 years all around the state in different cities, such as Bakersfield, Visalia, Stockton, Arvin, and Modesto. The valley CAN started this program around September 17, 2005. The whole purpose of this event is to get polluting cars off the road or fix the problem. The valley has a real major issue with the dirty air that we have, and now there are programs to help the people to get there cars to stop polluting. This is a great opportunity to get that fixed because it is free and you also get a coupon to fix the vehicle, so that it can pass smog.

So don’t forget to go get your vehicle “Tune in and tune up” this Saturday at 9:00a.m.-3:00p.m. You will help the valley clean up its air.
