Vicente Vasquez, Reporter
Vicente Vasquez is a 21 year old college student, currently attending Fresno City College where by the end of this year, he hopes to transfer to Fresno State with a journalism major under his belt. He expresses in great detail his passion to always push himself and venture beyond his comfort zone, and that although he may come off as timid, can be surprisingly confident in times of duress. That is not to say he experiences pressure or shows signs of discomfort, but understands that for this position he would need to maintain a level of professionalism for this class.
Some hobbies and passions of his are Video Games, Story Writing, and Art. Each tie to something of a passion of his, by remarking that he had a certain admiration for games that convey a deep impactful story that challenges the conventional norms and causes the player to think about that particular concept. As for art, he concedes in knowing that while his art may not be the best, he understands it's a passion for himself and has commented on numerous times of having absentmindedly starting to just sketch and draw concepts out of the blue.
Being a strong believer that creativity is spontaneous and can come at drop of dime, which is to say expect the unexpected and ride it out to see where it leads. Finally he expects this year to be full of hardship and full of trials of tribulation, but welcomes it and tackles one problem at a time.
