Have you ever waved and said “Good morning” to someone and their reply was a simple smile? That simple gesture from you can change a person’s attitude for the whole day. Now, what about the homeless and the needy families on the streets?

It is the same thing. A homeless person may come up to you and ask your for some change, when in reality you can just buy them a simple sandwich if you are willing. You may have your own intentions on how to spend your money, but the main thing is, you can simply spare a little more than just money itself.

Kindness, care and passion for helping others are all of the simple things you can give back to your community.

You may hear about all of the wonderful organizations that are helping those in need throughout California and helping those in need.The fact is, they can’t do all of it alone. Canned food and uneaten nonperishable foods that may be sitting around your house can easily go into a grocery bag and be given to those with a higher need.

Needless to say, it does take courage to stand up and give someone else the gift of a meal. But the results are endless! Each one of them leaves you with a satisfaction inside that helps move towards a huge change in your community.

It always feels wonderful to give back to your community and those you share it with. even if it is just a smile or a donation of food, clothing or money. How do you give to those so easily?
