Civil War,deaths, equals success in Iraq

On Thursday August 13, 2007 President Bush spoke to the millions of Americans about the Iraq war. He told us of how the progress is being made in the Iraq war, how other villages who where under the control of al-Qaeda last year, are now free and have no terriost controlling them, or not being fearful to speak to the American troops.

Now without the fear they can help the troops to help find terriosit in villages and cities. President Bush gave us this great speech of all the great things we are doing in Iraq, but nothing in his speech did he mention the Civil war that is going on, the number of Troops that have died in this war.

This war should have never should of started because we didn’t have enough evidence to go into someone territory, break a government and now they have two different sides in Iraq who want two types of government.

I somewhat glad that we don’t have Saddam Hussein in power, but after we took him out we should of got out of there and let them deal with the situation. Yes, at first the Iraq people were glad that we took Saddam out, but after a few months the Iraq people got tired and wanted the American Troops to get out so they can handle there situations.

But many of violence and attacks on American troops in Iraq wasn’t from angry Iraqis, it was from al-Qaeda. If I do recall we still haven’t captured the man who is responsible for the September 11th attacks,

The person who made the United states a whole different place after September 11th, a place where we seen people jumping out of a 20th floor to see if they can still be alive if they jump, planes crashing into buildings and the pentagon.

That day is very clear in my mind till today, I will never forget that day were you wake up and see that we have been attacked by a man who is called Osama bin laden and al-Qaeda.

The Iraq war started on March 20, 2003, so it has been over four years since we have been there fighting. Four years that is a lot of time, many families haven’t seen there loved ones since they were shipped off to go fight for the war.

Many now have children that they are dying to see, when they get home. Some have husbands who are dying to see there wife, Mother and Fathers who want to see there sons or daughters who they haven’t seen for over 2 years.

It is hard to know that your loved ones are fighting in a dangerous place were they can get killed any second. So you live on the edge and live on that edge until they come home.

It is very hard, for those troops to go there and fight for what they believe in. they have gone threw a lot in those 4 years, extreme heat, sand storms, and sectarian violence.

I have major support on my troops I can not talk bad about my troops. It is courages how hard they have fought threw to keep themselves alive and getting villages and cities under control.

It is a one hell of a job. Being very carful not to hit any road bombs, it is very dangerous being in a country were you are not wanted at first. But we have lost soldiers in this war the total number of troops in this war in about 3,780 and growing. It is very hard to lose a loved one.

We have witness it here in the central valley, two Clovis brothers that joined the war and died. It has to be very hard for the family to lose there sons in this war. An to the rest of American families who lost a loved one in the Iraq war.

So where do we go now after President Bush’s speech well he informed that he will be sending troops home. He will send in about 5 brigades back to there homes by Christmas.

An will start to reduce slowly, and more troops will come home. But not all troops are going to come home many will stay there until 2008. Which is pretty long, we have a election coming up and many of the democratic candidates want the troops home. Many want the troops to come home and end this war already.

There is no cause for this war, and we want our troops home already! My respects go out to the fallen troops and to their families who have lost a soldier In the Iraq War.
