The Fresno City College golf team took second place in a tournament last Friday afternoon in the Fig Garden Golf Course.
Lead by Head Coach Scott Stark and Assistant Coach Janine Paniccia, the eight members of the team split into two teams to battle against the men of Bakersfield, Ventura and Reedley College.
Starting at different holes of the playing field, the men began their tournament in a very quiet and concentrated setting.
Once the various teams made their final puts and hole in ones, they were able to tally up the scores to see who the winners of the tournament were. In first place came Bakersfield City College, with a score of 358, FCC followed with 361, Ventura placed third at 377 and Reedley came in last with an overall score of 407.
Best scores for FCC players included Ryan Arnold coming in at 58 points, Stefan Cox, Matt McAlpin and Charlie Harris at 74, and Todd Sakamoto at 71.
