“Battlefield V” enthusiasts will soon get their chance to play the “Battlefield V” open beta early next month, EA announced.

Revealed on Aug. 20, at Gamescom 2018, EA announced that the “Battlefield V” open beta will launch first via Origin Access Premier, Origin Access Basic, and EA Access on Sept. 4 and will arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Origin for PC on Sept. 6.

Individuals who have pre-ordered the video game will also gain early access to the open beta on Sept. 4.

The “Battlefield V” beta will include the Rotterdam map for Conquest mode, as well as the Arctic Fjord map for both Conquest and Grand Operations mode, according to EA.

“The Rotterdam map will immerse players in a battle fought throughout the streets of Holland where the game’s dynamic physicality and destruction will be on full display,” EA states in a press release.

According to EA, Grand Operations mode, which is completely new to the “Battlefield” franchise and will make its debut in “V”, is a “multiplayer experience across multiple maps and modes that takes players through a powerful narrative journey inspired by historical events.”

The latest installment in the “Battlefield” series, which throws gamers into a World War II set environment, is scheduled to launch on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Origin for PC on Oct. 19.

Those who have pre-ordered the game’s Deluxe Edition will receive early launch access to “Battlefield V” and get to play the game on Oct. 16.
