40 cadets set to graduate from FCC Police Academy

Forty cadets from the Fresno City College Police Academy are getting ready to serve and protect their communities, FCC spokeswoman Kathy Bonilla said.

The cadets are scheduled to graduate on June 23 at Northeast Assembly Church, located on 4386 N. Chestnut Ave. Graduation begins at 3 p.m.

Bonilla said the graduating cadets completed rigorous education in over 42 areas such as law, investigations, emergency management and first aid among others.

Once they graduate, Bonilla said all cadets are eligible to be hired in the state of California as police officers, deputy sheriffs or district attorney investigators.
