Queer Housing Summit At Fresno City College

On Aug.23, the third annual Queer Housing Summit occurred for the first time at Fresno City College. The event, hosted by members of the South Tower Community Land Trust, Housing Now! California, the Fresno City College Social Justice Center and more, focused on creating an accepting environment for all demographics with a centralized theme of maintaining sustainable housing opportunities for queer people.

Wyatt Bible is a video production major and Rampage reporter. He is 24 years old from Farmersville, CA and currently lives in Fresno. Wyatt recently graduated from Fresno State with a BFA in Graphic Design in the class of 2024. At Fresno State, he worked on the editorial board of The Collegian as the head graphic designer. His work included: a new logo and updated brand elements, story graphics, social media templates, photography, weekly newspaper layout and front cover designs and some written stories. In 2023, Wyatt developed the identity and style for The Collegian’s new newsmagazine, The Paw Print. He created the layouts and graphics used in the print for 4 issues from Fall 2023 to Spring 2024, and won a best of show award at the 2024 ACP Spring National College Media Conference. After graduating from Fresno State, Wyatt worked for a year as a graphic designer and large-format printing operator at a plastics manufacturing business in Clovis. There, he designed and fabricated various custom plastic products like signs, plaques, trophies and nameplates. Leaving this position in May 2025, Wyatt then pursued freelance design and photography. While freelancing, he works as a photographer for Fresno State Athletics, providing game photos and media day portraits, and with local music organizations for poster designs and concert photos. Wyatt enrolled at FCC in Fall 2025 to develop his skills in video and continue working in editorial media at the Rampage.
