Matthew Menchaca, Reporter
Matthew Menchaca is a 22-year-old Fresno City College student who was born and raised in Madera, CA. He currently lives in Madera with his girlfriend and he hopes to become a father to a blue crayfish, much to his girlfriend’s dismay.
Matt graduated from Bullard High School in 2016. He is currently majoring in Journalism, although his passion is Film and he is planning on switching to that major at a future university. He developed a love and passion for film at around 11 years old. His favorite movie genre is action adventure and his most watched movie of all time is Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith. He is a massive Star Wars fan and his dream job is to work for Lucasfilm.
His hobbies include watching movies, watching tv shows, drawing, gaming, and reading. He also enjoys collecting memorabilia based on different forms of entertainment. Matt’s friends and family describe him as a people person who is very outgoing, extroverted, and easygoing. He takes pride in being a direct and honest person.
Matt has had experience with photography, as he is a former school and event photographer for a local photography company. He has a poem about space published according to his seventh grade English teacher, although he has never found it.
