Laylalynn Moreno is a journalism major here at Fresno City College. She is 18 years old and this is her first year here at Fresno City. Layla is interested in becoming a sports reporter in the future hence why she is currently a member of the Rampage to get the experience she needs. She was born and raised in Madera her whole life. She just recently found her interest in becoming a reporter her senior year of High School which is why she decided to pursue that goal throughout college. She has always loved writing stories in general which is why she feels like this will be a perfect fit for her. Layla hopes to get more into interviewing others to get more experience for her future career goal. She has always been into sports since she was little so she’s excited to see how far she can go in hopes of becoming a sports reporter for either the NBA, NFL or MLB. Her favorite teams for the sports industry are the Cowboys, Packers, Lakers and the Dodgers. She is still deciding on transferring after her two years to pursue getting her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. Layla enjoys spending time with her family and friends when she gets the chance to. She also enjoys playing poker as well as other board games. She enjoys listening to R&B music as it helps her stay calm and helps her get through school. Layla is very excited to see what happens after she finishes her two or four years of college and how she continues to grow and succeed in life.
