Justin Gaxiola is a 20 year old journalism major from San Bernardino, CA. In the past he has taken a videography class in high school where he became interested in the process of creating videos. He helped create weekly update videos for his high school. He also took a photography class the next year where he learned many different photo techniques and basic photo editing. He decided to pursue journalism because he values people’s voices and wants to hear what they have to say, aiming to provide the information fairly and unbiased. In his free time he enjoys watching and doing sports. Training MMA and boxing teaches him important life lessons that he uses daily. He loves cooking a wide variety of foods. Cooking is another part of life where he can be creative learning from many different cultures. Justin has a soft spot for animals and carries cat treats in his backpack just in case he sees any strays. He has a cat named Jade, which he loves and spends more time with her than anyone else. Justin is a full time student and works. He enjoys a busy schedule because in the past he felt he wasn’t making the most of his time, so now he wants to fully experience life and take advantage of its opportunities.
