Fresno City College softball team No.1 in latest state ranking

The Fresno City College softball girl’s team is the number one team in the the latest ranking.
The Fresno City College softball team is number one, according to the latest California Community College Fastpitch Coaches Association ranking.
“I’m very proud of this team for their success so far, and grateful for the recognition,” Rhonda Williams, head softball coach said.
The ladies took the lead in the state and Northern California ranking after riding in a 22-game winning streak. After 412 days, they trumped the previous number one team, College of San Mateo.
The Rams, who are currently 30-3, were selected unanimously.
Sophomore pitcher, Sarah Santana leads the team and also is ahead in the state with 29 wins.
