Fresno City College’s Associated Student Government had their first weekly meeting of the fall 2025 semester on Tuesday, August 19 in the Senate Chambers of the FCC Student Lounge.
ASG president Miguel Barrita led the meeting with his fellow student senators, highlighting the success of the first week of the semester.
ASG welcomed new student senators Mary Woods and Natalia Montelongo along with Gurbhagat Singh Bains as ASG Inter-Club Council.
With Ram Ready and Extreme Registration out of the way, ASG is planning to be greatly involved with upcoming events like Club Rush on August 27.
After Barrita went through new and old business, the members shared stories of how the recent on-campus events have gone and how they wanted to improve for the Spring semester.
“I started off this summer by meeting with our new school president, which is super cool,” Barita said. “I also got involved with a couple staff meetings, where I got to get to know people and just show off what ASG is and represent myself, our Senate and our students, which is really cool.”
