Veterans Peace Memorial BBQ

If football is not your thing, but you love BBQ, come out to the main fountain from 10am-2pm on Oct. 20 for a hot dog BBQ and a national anthem singing contest. Hot dog meals start at only $4.00, but if you’re strapped for cash, there will be cheaper a la carte items. Enjoy a quick meal while helping a good cause. Proceeds will benefit the Veterans Peace Memorial Committee.

FCC’s associated student government is giving away, yes that’s right, giving away, a hamburger meal to students on Wednesday, Oct.27 from 10am-4pm. Students with a current fall 2010 can come by the free speech area and get a hamburger, chips, drink, AND a dessert for FREE.  If you’d like to support ASG but do not have an ASB ID card, plates can be purchased for $5. FCC to Celebrate Homecoming on Oct. 30

Fresno City College is holding a tailgate party on the north field (next to Ratcliffe stadium) to celebrate a special homecoming. The Centennial Homecoming tailgate will have BBQ, live entertainment, and your tailgate ticket includes a ticket into the football game.

The tailgate starts at 4:00pm with the BBQ by the Rams Huddle Club. There will be live music by Atzlan, an Alumni reunion, and a car show, all in celebration of FCC’s 100 years. After the tailgate fun, Homecoming royalty will be crowned and everyone will make their way to the football field for the game that starts at 7:00pm.

You can purchase your tailgate tickets at the business office, $10 for Faculty and staff and $6 for students with ID.

If you don’t make it to the tailgate party, make sure to get to the game to support the Rams and to see the incredible halftime show which includes a parade of cars from the decades, a centennial float and more!

FCC Fall Carnival to be a Spook-tacular event

If you’re looking for something do for Halloween with your family this year, come to the Fresno City College ASG sponsored fall carnival. It will be located at Ratcliffe stadium on Oct. 30 from 4:00pm-6:00pm. With carnival rides, candy, food, and free admission, this Halloween themed carnival is set to be an exciting and family oriented event before the homecoming game.
