On the 27th of August, 2007 star quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons, Michael Vick, pleaded guilty to dog fighting charges stemming from an earlier investigation surrounding illegal dog fighting. According to news outlets like CNN and CBS beginning on July 17, 2007, Michael Vick and three other men were indicted by a grand jury for felony and misdemeanor charges surrounding a fighting company called "Bad Newz Kennels.
