Dr. Kathleen Schock is an instructor at Fresno City College where she leads the journalism program and serves as adviser of The Rampage, FCC’s student-run media organization. Her experience in journalism includes hosting “Valley Edition” for KVPR FM 89.3, as well as working as a News Associate for NBC News in New York and a reporter for both WVTM in Birmingham, Alabama and KGPE in Fresno, California. She also worked as a Deputy Director for the California College Guidance Initiative, the Director of Strategic Communications at Fresno State, and was the Corporate Spokesperson for Pelco by Schneider Electric. She received a B.A. in International Relations from the University of Southern California, an M.A. in Journalism from UC Berkeley and an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Fresno State.
