Artem Tikhomirov, Reporter
Artem Tikhomirov is a 21-year-old journalism student with a strong interest in media and storytelling. He moved from Russia to the United States in 2022, bringing with him an international perspective that influences his writing and the way he looks at journalism.
He chose journalism because he values communication, truth, and the impact of media on society. Through his studies, Artem has learned important skills like research, interviewing, and multimedia storytelling. His goal is to keep improving as a reporter and create meaningful stories for The Rampage and beyond.
Artem also enjoys visual arts. He has taken photography classes at FCC , where he learned about composition, lighting, and editing. These skills allow him to make his stories more engaging by adding strong visuals.
Outside of school, Artem likes exploring new cultures, practicing foreign languages, and following global media trends. He is excited to continue building his career in journalism while contributing to campus life at Fresno City College.
