1. Learn how to say “NO!”

You don’t have to give away your money or let someone borrow money. It’s YOUR money.

2. Leftovers!!

Had fried chicken last night? Hope you don’t mind having it again for lunch. Get yourself a plastic container and bring it to the student center building (Above the café) there’s a microwave that you can use (FOR FREE). Would you like some ketchup with that?

3. Learn how to be cheap.

If you’re taking someone out to lunch head straight to the dollar menu. Being cheap saves money. I’m pretty sure Mr. Krabs from Sponge Bob Squarepants will give you a few lessons.

4. Guys!!

Let’s face it. The economy is in too bad of a condition to have a girlfriend anyway.

5. Sandwiches!

If you go to Costco and buy sit months supply of bread, PB & J, turkey, cheese, mayonnaise, relish, tuna, ham, and many other items, you can get really creative with the sandwiches you make. That saves a lot of money instead of buying lunch every day.

6. Buy a bus pass.

They made those things for a reason. It’s not smart to spend $2  everyday just to go to school and go back home. Also saves more money instead of buying gas for your car especially when you’re wasting all of it trying to find a parking space. YA SMELL ME?!?!

7. Get Smart.

If you have to eat out, think about where you go. A slice of pizza in the cafeteria costs $2.50. (Plus tax) But you can get a whole box of pizza at little Caesar’s for $5 bucks. Weird, isn’t it?

8. Get a bike

If you feel like saving more money and want to go a healthier route than buying a bus pass then a bike is your best bet. Sometimes something as simple as a bike can save you tons while giving you a good cardio work out.

9. Coupons are still very handy these days.

Use coupons for everything. Every cent you save now is a cent you can spend later. And don’t forget, Food Stamps still exist too.

10. Learn to cook

Do you miss the old days when your mom used to cook for you? Well now it’s your turn to cook while saving some money. Watch how much you spend and what type of food you buy because it just might save you some extra cash while being on a health diet.

11. Quit smoking

Do you find yourself puffing away? Well now it’s time to quit so you can start saving those dollar bills. So much money gets spent on cigarettes. Maybe now you will find an incentive to quit.

12. Purchase a copy of the book, “How to Make More Money without Using Your Money!” (WARNING:This book does not exist.) Seriously though, look around for books on how to save money. Get ideas to use.
