Fresno City College’s annual fall carnival made its return to campus on Oct. 24 with live music, games, costumes, food trucks, a haunted house, and spooky decorations galore. He is currently in his second year of college majoring in child development with a minor in journalism. however, after joining the rampage in the spring 2025, he extremely enjoyed his work there and might make journalism his main one. He grew up in a large family of eight siblings and is the third oldest. He is also a boyfriend, Tio, and to a godfather to his niece. He also owns four pets, two dogs named Minnie and Hydie, and two cats named Evie and Franco. Joel doesn’t have a lot of little journalism experience, but he loves to write in his free time and is eager to gain even more experience as he plans on sticking around next semester. When Joel isn’t recording, editing, or posting for the rampage he is playing video games on his PS5, reading comic books, and spending time with his family. He also loves film and the process of filmmaking and hopes to work on a film one day. Film is something Joel would like to major in after he gets his degree in child development or journalism. He hopes his experience from handling social media will help with filmmaking.
