Melody Olivas, Reporter
Student and photographer, Melody Olivas, is a regular at Fresno City’s campus. At the age of 13, Melody picked up her love for photography and art. She was immediately passionate about capturing everyday life and moments. Growing up, her parents were both in the military which allowed her the chance to move around a lot. From the coast, to New York, and the back to Fresno, Melody says she has “gained a new sense of love and appreciate for people and making them feel special”, which she can do with her photos. Now at 21, Melody is now the social media coordinator for Dutch Bros Fresno, where she has the ability to take pictures, make coffee, and reach the hearts of many. She also is a freelance business owner, capturing baby's first steps to newly weds first kiss! Although she has been in school for longer than anticipated, her end goal is to major in photojournalism while still gaining as much experience as possible.
