Ashlan Molina, Reporter
Ashlan Molina is a 23-year-old Fresno City College full-time student who has lived most of her life in Los Banos, California.
She is pursuing an Associate’s for Transfer in Journalisms with plans to obtain a bachelor's degree in Communications and Media.
Ashlan has been reading and writing her entire life. Growing up, she entered poetry and short fiction story writing contests. She carried her passion for reading and writing with her into college and adult life.
Ashlan enjoys movies, books, and the media. Her goals are to create and host her own podcast show and have her work published.
Ashlan is a single mother of her 3 years-old daughter named Ezrah. Before expecting her first child, she attended Long Beach City College.
After having a baby at the age of 19, Ashlan didn’t believe she would graduate from college. She decided to moved back to her hometown, and switched to a community college closer to home.
In the fall 2022, Ashlan plans to attend CSU East Bay.
Aside from school and being a mom, Ashlan also works full time at the Tesla factory in Fremont, California.
She is a proud member of the LGBTQ community. After publicly stating her sexuality, Ashlan is now living her life not only as a mom, but comfortably as a lesbian, open and truthful to herself.
