Because of the cafeteria’s size, it’s the best place on campus for the café to perform its catering events. Many catering jobs are scheduled during the time the café would have regularly been open, which would lead to students coming in and out during the events. FCC cafeteria manager Anita Handy decided it would be a good idea to close at 3 p.m.in order to make the catering jobs easier. This will only be until the ending of this semester and the café will resume its previous schedule of staying open until 6 p.m. in the fall semester.
