Ronnie Dunn Isn’t Done

Ronnie Dunn has been on the country music scene for more than 20 years. Known as half of the classic duo, Brooks and Dunn, Dunn recently released his first solo self-titled album which has already seen much success in the country music community.
The album debuted at No.56 on the country music album charts and has continued to rise since then.
Some of the singles from that album that stood out and become top hits on country radio are “Bleed Red,” and “Cost of Livin.”
Bleed Red was the first single released from the album and peaked at No.10 on the Billboard Hot 100 country music charts.
The lyrics on the single bring much to think about. They describe the vulnerability and flaws we all share as humans.
The lyrics emphasize how all of us hurt when we are deceived.
“Cost of Livin’”, the second hit single, debuted at No.96 on the Billboard Hot 100 country music chart and made the steady climb to current No.19 place on the chart.
The lyrics can only be described as powerful.
The single describes the current economic depression affecting millions of Americans across the country. The lyrics take the viewpoint of a blue-collar worker whose job was outsourced.
Overall, this is a great album from one of country music’s greatest artists.
