Fresno Fair Showcases Local Artists

The Big Fresno Fair has announced the final 6 local musicians selected to perform at the fair on Oct. 13 as a part of the second annual local performer showcase. The performances were narrowed down from a gallery of 45 videos posted online since the beginning of May.

Based upon the total number of votes received during tow separate voting phases in July and Aug., the 6 local musicians are set to perform at The Big Fresno Fair on Thursday Oct. 13 from 5 pm until 11 pm.

The finalists are HR7; JayTee, Johnny, and Vinnie; Motel Drive; Say Swear; Spell 336; and Travis Miller.

As a new edition to the Fresno Fair this year, one of the top local musicians will have a chance to play at the Paul Paul Theater as an opening act for the multi-platinum, crossover country artist, Uncle Kracker on Friday, Oct. 14.

A new round of voting for this years local artist will begin Thursday, Sep. 1. Members of the Big Fair Fan Club can vote online at www.FresnoFair.com for their favorite local performer that will be given the opportunity to take the stage in front of thousands of audience members before the Uncle Kracker concert. Tickets for this concert can be purchased online depending on your selected seating from $10-15.

To become a Big Fair Fan Club member, you can sign up at www.FresnoFair.com. The voting will last for 9 days from Sep. 1 to Sep. 9 and each person can only vote once.
