Fresno City College has now lost two straight games against powerhouse foes, last week 44-33 to City College of San Francisco, this week they lost to defending state champion Butte College 38 – 27, Sept. 27 at Ratcliffe Stadium.
The rams were out rushed by the roadrunners 319 to 47, they also had two costly turnovers.
“They come out there and did what they had to do to get the win,” said sophomore running back Errian Wingfield
Next week FCC faces another rival in Reedley College in 38th annual Battle of the Pump. FCC has held the trophy for the past 6 season, winning last years game at Ratcliffe stadium 48-7
“We have to play hard just go out there and don’t think about this lose,” said Wingfield
